High Pressure Mask Washers & Deflash Systems Clean masks without solvents

Solventless mask and tool washers from 100 to 8,000 PSI, designed around your masks and fixtures, plus high pressure water deflash systems and caustic cleaning tanks.

Mask & tool washers

Washers designed to your needs

We design every tool and mask washer to the customer’s needs, with robotic or fixed nozzles and pressures from 100 to 8,000 PSI. Cleaning is solventless and damage-free, using heated, filtered water at pressure, so it is environmentally safe and keeps cycle times efficient.

Masking is where Met-L-Tec started, and our Mask & Tooling division still builds the masks and fixtures that washers like these clean. One team can supply the tooling and the machine that keeps it clean.

Questions

Mask washer questions

What pressures do your mask washers run at?

We build mask washers from 100 to 8,000 PSI, matched to your masks and process. The turnkey washer we built for North American Lighting, for example, sprays up to 225 PSI through spiral headers with non-clogging Vee Jet nozzles.

Do your washers use solvents?

No. Our mask washers are solventless. They clean with heated, filtered water at pressure, with a cleaning solution where the process calls for one, such as the Challenge 4855 used on the North American Lighting washer.

Can a robot do the washing?

Yes. We build washers with fixed nozzles, reciprocating Vee Jet nozzles or robotic manipulation, and our electrical engineer programs FANUC robots in-house. Call (734) 847-7004 to talk through your masks.
