Our machine building, applied to recycling
Met-L-Tec built its name in paint finishing systems and tooling. In recent years we have expanded into recycling systems, material processing equipment and large-scale fabrication projects, with the same engineering, fabrication and controls teams.
We take each project from concept and engineering through fabrication, assembly, installation and start-up. Structures are heavy-duty welded steel, electrical panels and controls are integrated, and systems are built and pre-tested in our shop before they ship.

Custom picking and sorting stations
We design, engineer and fabricate picking and sorting stations as complete structures: welded steel frames and work platforms, with the electrical panels and controls built in.
Ergonomics and material flow are part of the design from the start, worked out in 3D before the steel is cut.

Our glass crusher systems are designed and fabricated to customer specifications, with heavy-duty steel construction and integrated drive components.
We complete the full assembly in our shop, then test and run off each crusher before shipment, so it arrives ready to install.

Recycling equipment questions
Can you build to our drawings or specifications?
Yes. We design equipment to your specifications, and for lift tables, platforms and mezzanines we also take on build-to-print modifications. Send drawings or 3D models with your quote request or to sales@met-l-tec.com.
Is the equipment tested before it ships?
Yes. Our glass crusher systems are fully assembled, tested and run off in our shop before shipment, and the systems we build are pre-tested here before they are installed on site.
Do you supply the electrical controls?
Yes. Our picking and sorting stations and fiber sorting stations come with integrated electrical panels and controls, designed and wired by our own electrical team.
