Custom Industrial Ovens for Curing & Annealing Batch or continuous, UV, convection or IR

Curing and annealing ovens designed in 3D, built and wired in our shop, and installed on their own or as the curing stage of a turnkey coating line.

Industrial ovens

Ovens that fit the line

We build curing and annealing ovens in batch and continuous designs, with UV, convection or IR heat. Some run on their own, like our basket-style annealing ovens. Others are the curing stage of a turnkey coating line, such as the IR over convection mesh chain oven on the paint and cure system we built for KI Industries.

Every oven is designed in 3D with the rest of the system, then built, wired and pre-tested in our 38,000 sq. ft. facility. Our controls team has worked on both electric and gas-fired ovens and furnaces.

Annealing ovens

Basket-style annealing ovens

For annealing, we build basket-style batch ovens. Parts load several to a basket, the door closes to hold heat between operations, and operators run the oven from push button controls with finger swipes.

Our electrical team builds and wires the Allen-Bradley controls, and the oven is assembled and tested in our shop. Depending on size, an annealing oven can ship in one piece to minimize installation time.

  • Multiple parts per basket
  • Electric duct heating
  • Tube and frame construction with batting insulation
  • Allen-Bradley controls
  • Can ship in one piece, depending on size

Questions

Industrial oven questions

Do you build batch ovens or conveyor ovens?

Both. We build batch ovens, such as our basket-style annealing ovens, and continuous ovens like the IR over convection mesh chain oven on the KI Industries paint and cure line.

Which curing methods can your ovens use?

UV, convection and IR. They can also be combined: the KI Industries line cures with IR over convection, and the North American Lighting anti-haze line cures in a 3-zone IR oven.

How is an oven shipped and installed?

Every oven is built and tested in our shop first. Depending on size, an annealing oven can ship in one piece to keep installation time down, and our team installs and starts it up on site. Call (734) 847-7004 to talk through your oven.
